“He who has an ear let him hear.” Matthew 11:15, Revelation 2:29.
In the current point of the biblical timeline, we aren’t surprised most churches skip the “hard verses.” Falling away from truth and even apostasy are expected as society continues to reject God.
Romans I presents a blueprint for separation and judgment like we see in America, and all across the world today. We have a sin problem, God is loving and long suffering, but He is also just. There is no better time in history than now to find Christ.
Acts 3:19 – Repent therefore, and turn back to God, so that your sins may be blotted out.
The videos here are totally worth the watch. At the very least, scroll down and read Romans 1:18-32, especially the bolded and highlighted parts. It’s worth a careful read and contemplation. We cannot afford to ignore the powerfully obvious reality of our current culture.
Along with idolatry and widespread immorality, aberrant sexuality is a prime characteristic of a nation under judgment. No amount of twisting scripture on this subject will change the truth, and widescale repentance is the only answer. The reason you you see an exponential increase in sexual perversion (of all types) and gender confusion is a by product of God taking his hand off the nation and “giving us over” to these things.
The sexual revolution began in the 1940’s when societal views on sex began to change from procreation to self-expression, then came birth control, removal of prayer in public schools, abortion, and a progressing dismissal of God’s design for the family and sexuality, and God as a whole. Today’s world is heavily pornified and glorifies sex in virtually all forms outside biblical marriage.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 Darkness prevails in the absence of light. Do we want to continue operating in darkness, or be the salt and light as God commands?
God’s grace and mercy are available to those who turn to Him in repentance and accept His free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. You can find victory and renewal of the mind even if you feel it’s impossible. With God, all things are possible! I’m not talking about a white knuckle experience but rather a natural transition through faith and putting God first in your life — I am living proof, having overcome sexual depravity and severe substance abuse issues.
When God Abandons a Nation (Romans 1:18-32)
Romans 1 :18-32
God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been Clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.
They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
God Is Judging Our Nation | Allen Jackson Ministries (2024)
“If you choose not to retain the knowledge of God, choose to hide it, ignore it, to bury it, God will give you the gift of having what you want…he will release you.”

America Is Under God’s Judgment (Paul Washer and Dr. John MacArthur) – This short video is 14+ years old: listen to Paul Washer’s predictions!
Also, I highly encourage you to read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah where once again, the judgment ends with blatant sexual immorality. It’s found in Genesis 18:16 – 19:29. And if you’re curious, do a YouTube search for “sulfur balls Sodom and Gomorrah,”
God’s judgment never ends well. We can be naive or proud or live in denial all we want, but God is God and you and I are not. Matthew 4: 7 “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.”
The Bible mentions judgments throughout history, such as the Flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the exile of the Israelites. And of course the final judgment in the book of Revelation. Israel becoming a nation again (the regathering of the Jewish people — an undeniable last days marker) shows us that we are closer than ever and seemingly living in the Last Days — this is said to Prepare not Scare – go here to read more.
Repentance and salvation is the answer. If a society as whole is under judgment it doesn’t mean you have to be.
Romans I: 1-4
1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 4in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
